Frano Mlinar Transfer from Mura to Jarun
Frano Mlinar has made a return to Croatian football, joining Jarun for the upcoming season, and has already commenced training with the team. All necessary agreements have been finalized with coach Marijo Vodanović and sporting director Marko Nujić, although the duration of his contract, whether one or two years, is yet to be determined. Previously, Mlinar played for Mura and, despite having a year remaining on his contract, he agreed to a mutual termination. He had been in discussions with Jarun for a while, awaiting the official conclusion of his tenure with the Slovenian club before relocating to Zagreb. Mlinar is anticipated to make his debut for Jarun in their season opener against Karlovac on Friday, which also marks the beginning of the Prva NL season. Sporting director Nujić expressed his satisfaction with the transfer, noting that Mlinar fits the profile of player the team needed. Jarun has significantly overhauled their squad during the summer, and Mlinar's experience and quality are expected to earn him a pivotal role in the midfield, an area the club had identified as needing reinforcement.
