Real Madrid are prepared to loan out 18-year-old Argentine-Italian winger Franco Mastantuono this summer, as he is apparently not in Jose Mourinho's plans for the next season and the club wants him to get regular playing time to continue his development. According to Spanish publication SPORT, Rennes is among the clubs interested in signing him, facing competition from Tottenham Hotspur, Villarreal, Porto, Sporting CP, Benfica, Inter Milan, Juventus, and River Plate. Mastantuono, who has four caps for Argentina, joined Real Madrid from River Plate in August 2025 for a reported fee between €60 million and €63.2 million, and his current contract runs until 2031. In the 2025/2026 LaLiga season, he made 23 appearances and scored one goal. His current Transfermarkt market value is €45.00m. In early 2026, Tottenham was reportedly considering offers for the player in the range of €45 million to €50 million.
