Francesco Conti Transfer from Sampdoria to Torino
Torino's interest in 20-year-old Italian midfielder Francesco Conti was highlighted by the presence of their director, Davide Vagnati, at the Sampdoria-Cesena match. According to Tuttosport, Vagnati was there specifically to observe the midfielder. Torino are not the only club interested, as Atalanta and Bologna are also monitoring the player, and Inter had previously attempted to sign him in August for their U23 team. These clubs are reportedly studying a deal that would see Conti signed in January and then loaned back to Sampdoria for the remainder of the season, an option said to be favored by his current club. Meanwhile, Sampdoria are intensifying talks to extend Conti's contract, which expires on June 30, 2026, to avoid losing him on a free transfer. According to Transfermarkt, the player has a current market value of €300k.
