Florian Thauvin Transfer from Udinese to Fiorentina
Fiorentina, led by Rocco Commisso, has expressed interest in Florian Thauvin, who is currently a key player in Udinese's squad under the guidance of coach Runjaic. Thauvin, known for his time at Marseille, is celebrated for his European experience and his role in the 2018 World Cup-winning team. Despite having been sidelined due to injury since March, he has managed to score 8 goals in Serie A and one in the Coppa Italia, along with providing 5 assists. Fiorentina is considering Thauvin as a possible replacement for Gudmundsson if the club decides not to exercise the option to retain him from Genoa. The club's sporting director, Daniele Pradè, is actively seeking to enhance the squad for the upcoming season, and there have been contacts made with Udinese concerning Thauvin. The French forward's experience is considered valuable for Fiorentina's participation in the next Conference League.
