Burgos expressed their hope that Mimbacas will gain valuable experience in Colombia, enabling him to return next season with greater maturity and readiness to compete for a position in the first team. Deportivo Cali has the option to purchase Mimbacas, who transferred to Burgos last January from Juventud de Las Piedras, a Uruguayan second division team, for a fee of 30,000 euros.
