According to transfer expert Sacha Tavolieri, a preliminary agreement has been reached at the club level for Félix Lemaréchal to move to Club Brugge. Tavolieri reports that the fee would be between six and seven million euros and that the 22-year-old French midfielder has personally agreed to a contract lasting until mid-2029. This is confirmed by Het Laatste Nieuws, which adds that the former youth international, who has five caps for France U21, has been of interest to Club Brugge for some time. Lemaréchal had a less prominent role at his current club, RC Strasbourg, creating an opportunity for the move. Tomas Taecke also reports that Club Brugge is paying over six million euros to Strasbourg for the player. Additionally, Club Brugge is close to securing its first winter signing, with the expectation that the transfer will be officially completed soon. Lemaréchal, who joined Strasbourg in August 2024 and has a current Transfermarkt market value of €10.00m, has made 11 appearances and provided 2 assists in Ligue 1 this season.
