Federico Bonini Transfer from Catanzaro to Lazio
Marca has reported on Federico Bonini's potential transfer to a Spanish club. Lazio had been showing keen interest in Bonini, but it appears that he is likely to join the Spanish Segunda division, with Almería expressing strong interest in him. Italian journalists Gianluca Di Marzio and Gianluigi Longari have indicated that the transfer of the 23-year-old left-footed central defender from Catanzaro is making good progress. Di Marzio mentioned that Bonini is close to moving to Almería, with Longari noting that Catanzaro is in the process of finalizing his transfer to the club for a fee of 3 million euros. The Italian defender, who is 1.88 meters tall and has a contract until 2028, made an impressive impact last season in Serie B, scoring 8 goals and providing 5 assists—extraordinary statistics for a central defender. Despite Lazio's significant interest, it seems Bonini is set to move to the Segunda division in Spain, becoming Almería's second defensive signing after Nelson Monte, which leaves one more spot to fill in their defensive lineup.
