Farid Alfa-Ruprecht, a 19-year-old right winger with the capability to play on the left, is poised to join VfL Bochum on loan from Bayer Leverkusen to add speed to their wings in their effort to return to the Bundesliga. Originally hailing from Hamburg, Alfa-Ruprecht transitioned from Manchester City's U21 to Bayer Leverkusen, where he signed a contract extending until 2030. It was part of the initial plan for him to be loaned out to acquire match experience. He is anticipated to undergo his medical examination on Saturday. VfL Bochum, led by coach Dieter Hecking, is aiming to bolster their squad before the summer transfer window closes.
