Midtjylland is no longer pursuing Farès Ghedjemis, a 23-year-old Algerian international winger, after an unsuccessful approach. The decision was made due to high financial demands from his club, Frosinone, which is now asking for a fee of 20 million euros for the player. Ghedjemis, who joined Frosinone in January 2024 and has a contract until 2028, scored 17 goals in 58 Serie B appearances during the 2025/2026 season and has a current market value of €7.50m. Several other clubs have recently been linked with him, including Celtic, Rangers, and Wolverhampton Wanderers. Frosinone has reportedly rejected multiple bids during the current transfer window, including offers of up to €10 million from both Celtic and Rangers in August 2026.
