Como and Atalanta are interested in Frosinone's 23-year-old French-Algerian winger, Farès Ghedjemis, and will compete with Celtic for the player if Celtic renews its pursuit. Interest from these two clubs was a reason a transfer did not happen in January, as there was confidence that Ghedjemis would attract larger offers. During the winter window, Frosinone rejected a €6m bid from Celtic for a permanent transfer because the offer was considered too low. The player was also not convinced by the move and reportedly viewed it as a downgrade. Frosinone is now waiting for a major offer in the summer to sell the winger and has set an asking price of €10m. Ghedjemis joined Frosinone from Rouen in January 2024 for a reported fee of €300,000, and his contract is valid until June 2026. His market value is estimated by Transfermarkt to be €1.5m.
