Facundo Mura Transfer from Racing Club to Inter Miami

Inter Miami has officially signed Argentine defender Facundo Mura. He joins the MLS club as a free agent with a contract until 2029. The club has stated that Mura will join Inter Miami pending the receipt of his work visa.

Facundo Mura is reportedly close to leaving, and his destination would be Inter Miami, Lionel Messi's team. The full-back, who has had a very low contract, seems determined to end his contract in December despite attempts to renew it retroactively. Gustavo Costas stated that if Mura sees what the fan base and the group are like, he has to stay. Costas added that Mura always gave his all, never showed a bad attitude, and that he hoped Mura stays.

According to TYC, it is indicated that Facundo Mura will play his last home game for Racing, with his next destination expected to be Inter Miami. Mura has had a very low contract for a long time, and although a renewal offer would include a retroactive adjustment for 2024, the defender seems determined to end his contract in December. A conflict could arise if he becomes a free agent as his former club Estudiantes owns half of his transfer rights. The former Colón and Estudiantes player has performed well as both a right-back and a left-back and has also contributed some goals.

A potential transfer of Facundo Mura to Inter Miami is reported by TYC. It was mentioned that Facundo Mura was a possible teammate for Lionel Messi.

Argentinian right-back Facundo Mura, 26, is in advanced negotiations to join Inter Miami as a free agent at the end of the year when his contract with Racing expires. A potential conflict is developing because Estudiantes, the club Mura left for Racing four years ago, still holds 50 percent of his rights. It is expected that Estudiantes will object to losing their investment and may take Racing to a sports court to seek compensation if the transfer is finalized. At Inter Miami, Mura would fill the position that Marcelo Weigandt is expected to leave, as Weigandt's loan ends on December 31st. The player has two caps for the Argentina U23 national team and, according to Transfermarkt, has a current market value of €1.50m.
