Facundo Buonanotte Transfer from Brighton & Hove Albion to Bayer 04 Leverkusen
Bayer Leverkusen has expressed interest in acquiring 20-year-old Argentine midfielder Facundo Buonanotte. The club is in a strong financial position to potentially facilitate the transfer. However, Brighton & Hove Albion, Buonanotte's current club, is reportedly not willing to sell him permanently and would prefer a loan arrangement, ideally within the Premier League. This preference could pose challenges for Leverkusen's pursuit, as Brighton is intent on including Buonanotte in their future plans. Transfermarkt lists his current market value at €20 million. Despite Leverkusen's financial strength, a permanent transfer remains uncertain due to Brighton's position. Buonanotte, who made a significant impact during a loan spell at Leicester City last season, has a contract with Brighton until 2028. It is reported that his priority is a move to Borussia Dortmund, who are also interested and open to a loan deal, which aligns with Brighton's preferences.
