Ewan Henderson Transfer from Beerschot-Wilrijk to Wycombe Wanderers
Ewan Henderson, a Scottish midfielder, has become the eighth addition to Wycombe Wanderers' squad this summer. He joins from Beerschot, a club in the Belgian Pro League, where he spent the previous season. Henderson, who is the younger sibling of Liam Henderson, currently unattached after leaving Empoli, started his career in Celtic's youth academy, where he made 11 first-team appearances. Afterward, he had loan stints before transferring to Hibernian in January 2022, where he played for a year and a half, then moved on to spend two seasons in Belgium with Oostende and Beerschot. Coach Mike Dodds conveyed his satisfaction with the acquisition, noting Henderson's energy and experience in top-level football both in Scotland and Belgium, and expressed his belief in Henderson's ability to integrate swiftly during the pre-season.
