Evan Ndicka Transfer from Roma to Real Madrid
Tuttomercato has reported that Roma is contemplating the sale of Evan Ndicka as a measure to balance their budget by the end of June. It was mentioned that a call was placed to Juni Calafat, the head scout of Real Madrid, to assess their interest in the 25-year-old Ivorian defender. Despite Calafat's prior familiarity with Ndicka from his tenure at Eintracht Frankfurt, Real Madrid has reportedly deemed the 40 million euro price tag set by Roma as excessive. The consideration to sell Ndicka is partly attributed to his incompatibility with the playing style of the new coach, Gasperini, as well as concerns regarding his potential absence during the Africa Cup of Nations. Additionally, selling Ndicka would result in a substantial capital gain for Roma, given that he was acquired by the club for free two seasons ago.
Roma have offered Madrid the chance to sign centre-back Evan Ndicka, with €40m (£34m / $46m) enough to secure his signature. The offer has come directly from the sporting director of the Italian club. Ndicka, who has recent experience in the Bundesliga and Serie A, is a profile that is well-liked in Madrid and has been monitored by the technical department for several seasons. However, the current scenario seems not to favour this move.
Real Madrid is eyeing AS Roma's Evan Ndicka to bolster their defense due to Eder Militao's injury and David Alaba's fitness issues. Ndicka, who joined Roma in 2023 and plays for Ivory Coast, impressed at Eintracht Frankfurt and is attracting interest from top European clubs. While a move isn't confirmed, Real Madrid's decision may depend on Roma's stance, as they are struggling in Serie A and might be reluctant to sell in January.
