Essiën Bassey can depart PSV at the end of the transfer window because multiple clubs are interested in him. PSV wants to receive a market-conform fee. Bassey has an expiring contract at PSV and no agreement has been reached on a contract extension offered by the club. According to Eindhovens Dagblad, a transfer for Bassey is not excluded, and there are reportedly several clubs interested in the right back. PSV previously rejected interest from Sturm Graz. It is not clear what the transfer sum PSV is asking is, nor which clubs exactly are interested in Bassey.

SK Brann from Norway has reportedly made a bid for Essien Bassey, a 19-year-old Dutch and Ghanaian right-back from PSV. PSV is asking for more than the amount offered. The offer was rejected by the Dutch champions, but Essien Bassey desires to make the transfer. His contract with the club runs until June 2027 and he has been capped by the Netherlands at the U16 level. Bassey has a market value of €350k according to Transfermarkt and has also been linked with Sturm Graz.
