Fiorentina and Lazio have reportedly become interested in PSV's Esmir Bajraktarević during the final days of the transfer window. It is alleged that both Italian clubs sent official offers on Saturday morning. This interest from the Italian clubs has emerged while a potential move to Dinamo was understood to be in the final stages of negotiation for the 21-year-old Bosnia and Herzegovina international winger. The proposed deal with Dinamo was a loan with an option to buy. PSV's preference is for a permanent transfer. It is reported that the club considers a loan to be a last resort if a sale cannot be agreed upon with another team. Bajraktarević joined PSV in January 2025, has a contract with the club until June 2029, and his current Transfermarkt market value is €8.00m. Reports from August 2026 indicated that PSV is seeking a fee several million higher than his market value, while an earlier summer 2026 report mentioned an unofficial estimate of approximately €12 million.
