Belgian club Club Brugge was one of several teams interested in signing 21-year-old midfielder Ermin Mahmic from Slovan Liberec. German club Schalke, fellow Belgian club Union St-Gilloise, and French club Toulouse also showed interest, but Celtic are considered to be in the leading position to sign the player.
