Swedish winger Erik Ring, 24, has moved permanently from Lincoln City to Scottish Premiership side Kilmarnock for an undisclosed fee. The player originally joined Lincoln in August 2024 from the Swedish team AIK Stockholm, where he had developed at their academy, and he made 49 appearances for City in all competitions. Sporting director Jez George stated that Ring required a new beginning to get regular game time, an opportunity Lincoln City could not provide. George added that the transfer seemed to be the best solution for all parties and that Ring departs with the club's respect and sincere best wishes for his future career. The player's current market value is €275k, according to Transfermarkt, and he has been capped twice by the Sweden U21 national team.
