According to a report from the 'Hamburger Abendblatt', Hamburger SV is considering 24-year-old Turkish-German right winger Eren Dinkci as a candidate for offensive reinforcement. SV Werder Bremen and 1. FC Köln have also been linked with the player in recent weeks. The Abendblatt also states that Dinkci's price tag is six million euros, an amount Hamburger SV is unlikely to be able to afford. A deal is therefore considered probable only if Freiburg agrees to a loan, which could potentially include a purchase option. Dinkci joined Freiburg from SV Werder Bremen in July 2024 for a reported €5,000,000 and has yet to be capped by Türkiye.
