Two clubs from Germany's Derde Bundesliga, Rot-Weiss Essen and FC Ingolstadt 04, are interested in Willem II's 23-year-old German attacker, Emilio Kehrer. Ingolstadt would like to loan the attacker with an option to purchase, and the player is reportedly in favor of such a move. According to Brabants Dagblad, there is interest from Kehrer's home country, and the player is open to a transfer to be nearer to his family. The newspaper also states that Willem II is not forcing a departure and will only sanction a move for the right fee, adding that for any loan deal, the club would require his salary to be covered. Kehrer, who has been capped six times for Germany's U20 team and scored two goals, joined Willem II in July 2024 and is under contract until June 2027. In the current Keuken Kampioen Divisie season, he has made 8 appearances and scored 1 goal. Transfermarkt estimates his current market value to be €400k.
