Betinia Liga club Esbjerg fB has sold 18-year-old defender Emil Larsen to Italian Serie A club Lecce. The agreement includes the possibility of further financial benefits for Esbjerg. According to Esbjerg's Sportschef, Sebastian Brydegaard, the club is proud to once again transfer a homegrown player to a reputable club. He also added that interest from a Serie A side highlights both the player's potential and the club's development environment. Larsen played seven matches for Esbjerg’s first team. Lecce stated that he will start on the B-team at his new club.
