Sassuolo is seeking to sign a new left-back. According to SkySport, the club's primary target for the position is Rafa Obrador, and Sassuolo is currently in contact with Benfica to try and reach an agreement for him. If a deal for Obrador does not materialize, Emanuele Valeri has been identified by Sassuolo as an alternative. Valeri is a 27-year-old Italian who recently played for Parma. He joined Parma on July 1, 2024, signing a contract until June 30, 2028. According to Transfermarkt, Valeri has a market value of €3.00m. Bologna has also been linked with the left-back.
