Emanuel Emegha leaving Strasbourg?
Chelsea are reportedly on the verge of reaching an agreement to sign Strasbourg striker Emanuel Emegha next summer. The Netherlands U21 international has been linked with a number of European clubs, but Chelsea are leading the race due to being Strasbourg’s sister club. Chelsea have offered Emegha a six-year contract valid until 2031. He will remain with Strasbourg for another season to gain more experience before moving to Stamford Bridge next summer. Transfer news expert Fabrizio Romano confirmed Chelsea are working on a pre-agreement deal for Emegha.
Emanuel Emegha, a 22-year-old Dutch striker, has been a standout performer in Ligue 1 for Strasbourg, scoring 14 goals and providing three assists in 27 league appearances in the 2024-25 season. His impressive form has attracted interest from top European clubs, including Chelsea. A summer move to the Premier League is being linked, although it is suggested that the battle to sign top strikers will be intense and costly this summer. Transfermarkt currently estimates his market value at 20 million euros.
