Sassuolo was the first Italian club to take formal steps to sign Eman Kospo, a 19-year-old defender from Fiorentina who has both Bosnia-Herzegovina and Switzerland nationality. Roma also expressed interest in the player and considered him a potential future investment. The Giallorossi were considering a plan to sign Kospo and subsequently loan him to Empoli to facilitate his gradual development. Fiorentina, however, prefers to sell the player to a club abroad. Pafos is one of the most interested foreign clubs, and its sporting director is Cristiano Giaretta. The Bosnia-Herzegovina international has two caps for his country. His contract with Fiorentina is valid until 2030, and according to Transfermarkt, his current market value is €1.50m.
