Free-agent English defender Elijah Upson recently ended an 11-year association with Tottenham after rejecting their offer of a professional contract. Several major European clubs are interested in the 18-year-old, including Chelsea, Arsenal, Bayern Munich, and Manchester City. Additionally, Everton, Borussia Dortmund, and Monaco are reportedly monitoring him. Arsenal may have an advantage, as Upson has visited their training ground.
