Wieczysta Kraków has officially confirmed the signing of Swedish defender Elias Olsson on a loan deal until the end of the current season, which includes an option for the club to purchase him. Olsson comes from Lechia Gdansk, which he joined in August 2023. The 22-year-old had been a primary center-back in previous seasons. His standing with coach John Carver significantly declined in the autumn, resulting in him featuring in only eight league matches, with his final appearance occurring in mid-October. Consequently, the player became open to a transfer during the winter, which allowed Wieczysta Kraków to sign him for at least the remainder of the season. Olsson's contract with Lechia Gdansk runs until June 2026, and he has one cap for the Sweden U21 national team. His market value is €250k, according to Transfermarkt.
