Club Brugge is interested in Elias Benkara and faces competition from Anderlecht and Eintracht Frankfurt. Benkara, an 18-year-old central defender, will be available on a free transfer as his contract with Borussia Dortmund expires at the end of this season. It is reported that Borussia Dortmund wants to extend his contract. Benkara, however, is looking for more prospects of playing time, and it is thought that the Belgian clubs are in a better position to offer this. The player has primarily featured for Dortmund's reserves but has been included in the first-team squad.
