Watford may be able to arrange a deal with Brighton & Hove Albion for Eiran Cashin, who could fill a defensive position left by Max Alleyne's recall to Manchester City. Cashin is currently on loan at Birmingham City from Brighton but has had limited playing time, making just 11 league appearances, mostly from the bench. It is reported that Blackburn Rovers are also interested in the player. Brighton might be reluctant to send the player to a club in a relegation battle and could be more persuaded by a deal with Watford, who are positioned higher up the Championship table. An opportunity exists for Cashin to secure a position in the team at Vicarage Road.
