Ehije Ukaki has returned to his former club, Botev Plovdiv, joining the Bulgarian top-flight side on loan for the remainder of the season. The 21-year-old Nigerian winger's departure from Sheffield United was made to create space in their 25-man squad for another forward. Ukaki originally joined Sheffield United from Botev in the summer of 2025 and made one first-team appearance in the Carabao Cup, in addition to a previous loan spell in Greece. His contract at Sheffield United is due to expire on 30/06/2028, and his current Transfermarkt market value is €700k.
