According to TuttoJuve, Atalanta has started to monitor Edon Zhegrova and is reportedly considering a deal based on a loan with an option to buy. Currently, there have been no formal contacts or official proposals sent to Juventus, and the idea is in an early stage. The development of the situation is dependent on the league standings in January.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Juventus considered transferring Edon Zhegrova and Atalanta considered the player. Romano stated that discussions with Atalanta did not advance, Lazio was not a significant possibility, and a deal with Al Ittihad did not proceed. The Kosovo international is under contract with Juventus until June 2030, and his transfer from Lille a year prior was for a base fee of €15.5 million.
