Valencia has expressed interest in Lazio's Italian goalkeeper Edoardo Motta as they search for a young second goalkeeper to compete for the starting position. The club has explored the possibility of signing the 21-year-old, who could be open to a move as the return of the injured Provedel would likely result in him being on the bench again. While Valencia is aware of Motta's conditions, no formal offer has been made to Lazio yet. Motta is one of several options being considered, as Valencia also inquired about Fran González from Castilla, but the club was not prepared to meet the playing-time stipulations set by Real Madrid for a deal.
