Avellino has targeted Fiorentina's Italian full-back Eddy Kouadio, born in 2005, as part of a strategy to sign young players from major Serie A clubs. Negotiations are in progress for Kouadio, with Avellino making a concrete effort to persuade Fiorentina to let the player leave. The club is also in talks for another Fiorentina player, striker Riccardo Braschi. Kouadio, who also holds Ivorian nationality, has a contract with Fiorentina until June 2030 and has been capped twice by Italy. Transfermarkt estimates his current market value to be €2.50m.
