Etienne Camara is preparing to move to Greece for Panathinaikos, as negotiations between representatives of the club and Charleroi are advanced.

Panathinaikos is working to sign 22-year-old French-Guinean midfielder Etienne Camara from Charleroi to strengthen its midfield. Camara is considered one of the top players in the Belgian championship. The Greek club has identified him to address a need in the '6' position, and he is also capable of playing as an '8'. The player has previous senior-level experience with Udinese and Huddersfield and is under contract with his current club until 2027. According to reports from international media, Camara has been described as a playmaker with good on-field vision. Camara, who joined the Belgian club in February 2024, has been capped for France at the U20 level. In the 2025/2026 Jupiler Pro League season, he has recorded one goal and two assists in 21 appearances. Transfermarkt currently estimates his market value to be €2.50m.
