The Greek club has shown interest in acquiring the player and has reached out to his representatives to discuss a potential transfer during the summer. Batubinsika, who is a 29-year-old Congolese center-back, was a regular starter for Saint-Étienne in Ligue 2 last season and is open to considering the move if the offer meets his expectations. He began his career at the Paris Saint-Germain academy and has had stints with Antwerp and Famalicão. His current contract with Saint-Étienne is valid until the summer of 2026. With a market value estimated at 1.2 million euros, the fee is deemed affordable for AEK, which aims to bolster its defense for the upcoming season.
