Tuttomercatoweb revealed a month ago that Panathinaikos was interested in the 24-year-old Ivorian-Italian midfielder, and AEK's Director of Football, Javier Ribalta, and Chief Scout, Roberto Malfitano, know him well from their shared time at Parma. More recently, two different Italian sources reported last week that an unnamed major Greek club has made advanced progress on the transfer. Gaziantep, which acquired Camara from Parma for €400,000 last September, now values the player at over €5 million, with reports in Turkey mentioning figures as high as €8 to €10 million. Camara, who has two caps for the Ivory Coast U23 team, has a contract with the Turkish club until June 2028 and a current Transfermarkt market value of €3.50m.
