Benfica have confirmed the permanent transfer of defender Diogo Spencer to Alverca. The Lisbon club has made the agreement official and wished the player well for the new stage in his career. The right-back, who had been on loan at Aves SAD since the start of the season, will now represent Alverca. Alverca have also formalised the signing. Benfica will reserve 50 percent of the economic rights.

According to A BOLA, Diogo Spencer is joining Alverca. Alverca was a club that was looking to add depth to its right wing. The 21-year-old will depart Aves SAD, the team at the bottom of the Liga where he was on loan from Benfica. Spencer is being released from his Benfica contract, but the club will retain 50% of his rights. He is expected to start training under coach Custódio Castro as soon as Tuesday.
