Rio Ave officially announced on Tuesday the signing of Diogo Bezerra from OFK Beograd, which he joined in February 2025. The 23-year-old Brazilian winger, who registered eight assists and two goals in the first half of the Serbian Superliga season, joins in a transfer costing 1.8 million euros. Bezerra has signed a contract for four and a half seasons, valid until June 2030. The signing provides another attacking option for the club while a deal for André Luiz with Benfica has not advanced. The acquisition of Bezerra does not require the sale of André Luiz.
