Denys Popov Transfer from Dynamo Kyiv to Udinese
Italian club Udinese expressed interest in Denis Popov and proposed an offer to Dynamo Kyiv of approximately five million euros. The proposal included an immediate payment of half the amount, with the remaining portion to be paid as bonuses. Nevertheless, Dynamo's president decided against releasing the player, citing the team's active participation in the league and European competitions. Reports suggest that Udinese retains its interest and may consider revisiting the transfer during the winter window. Popov, a 26-year-old defender for both Dynamo Kyiv and the Ukrainian national team, is under contract with the club until June 2026. This contractual situation allows him the possibility to sign a preliminary agreement with another club as early as the winter transfer window. Despite having neither scored nor assisted in his seven appearances this season, his market value is still estimated at five million euros, matching Udinese's offer.
