Fiorentina's management is interested in signing 29-year-old Slovakian central defender Denis Vavro during the January transfer window. Wolfsburg values the player at approximately 7 million euros. Another Serie A club, Roma, is also reported to be interested in the defender. The Slovakian international has 30 caps and 2 goals for his country. This season, he has made 4 appearances in the Bundesliga, scoring once. Vavro's move to Wolfsburg was made permanent in July 2025 for a fee reported to be €2.0M, which followed a transfer from Lazio to FC Copenhagen in 2022 for €4.5M.
