Globo.com reports that Atlético-MG began negotiations with Chelsea in an attempt to sign Deivid Washington on loan. The negotiations started 20 days ago. A positive outcome is not currently expected, as Chelsea is not interested in loaning Deivid Washington and instead intends to negotiate a permanent transfer.

Deivid Washington almost joined RC Strasbourg, but that potential €21m transfer was canceled. Washington was signed for €16m from Santos just one year ago, and concerns were raised over the €5m profit Chelsea were going to achieve by selling a player to their sister club.

Chelsea reporter Kieran Gill from the Daily Mail reported that Deivid Washington is available for sale or loan. The transfer window is still open in Greece, Turkey, Belgium, etc.

Monaco showed interest in Brazilian striker Deivid Washington from Chelsea, as reported by Globo.
