Lyngby was recently linked with 22-year-old English defender Jadel Katongo as part of the club's search for a defender, but it did not result in an agreement. Katongo has been without a club since July 2026 and has been capped four times for England's U20 team. Aberdeen has also been linked with the defender. Transfermarkt estimates his current market value at €400K.
