According to Ouest-France, the management of Nantes has reached an agreement to sign left-back Deiver Machado from Lens. The Colombian international will sign a contract with Nantes for two-and-a-half years as a 'joker'. Lens will be paid a transfer fee of 500,000 euros. Machado's contract was set to expire in June, at which point he could have left for free.

The experienced left-back or wing-back could sign a two-and-a-half-year contract with Nantes after the match between the two clubs this weekend. Machado, who has 12 caps for his country, joined Lens in July 2021 and has made 5 appearances in Ligue 1 this season. Transfermarkt estimates his market value to be €3.00m.
