Deiver Machado Transfer from Lens to Nantes

Deiver Machado has moved from RC Lens to FC Nantes. The Colombian international was bought for 500,000 euros in a wildcard transfer and officially signed with the Canaries on Monday; his contract is valid until June 2028.

Pierre Sage stated in a press conference that Deiver Machado will join FC Nantes to maximize his chances of participating in the next World Cup with his national team. The transfer fee is €300,000, with an additional €100,000 if FC Nantes remains in Ligue 1. The player was under contract with RC Lens until June 2026. Deiver Machado published a farewell message on his social media in which he thanked RC Lens.

L'Équipe reports that Nantes has acquired Colombian international left-back or wing-back Deiver Machado from Lens as a joker for 500,000 euros, a move validated by Castro. The 32-year-old was at the end of his contract in June at Racing and will be at La Beaujoire as a spectator this afternoon. He is set to sign a contract until 2028 and is being considered for the squad at Angers, at a position where Cozza has not been sufficiently convincing.
