David Watson Transfer from Kilmarnock to Bolton Wanderers
Kilmarnock reportedly rejected a Transfer Deadline Day offer for David Watson from League One club Bolton Wanderers. The rejected bid for the central midfielder was for €578,000 (£500,000). Kilmarnock are reluctant to allow a mid-season sale as they view the 20-year-old as an integral player in their effort to avoid relegation. Watson has contributed 3 goals and 1 assist in 21 appearances in the Scottish Premiership this season. His current market value is €1.80m, according to Transfermarkt. Bolton wanted to sign the Scotland U21 international to support their promotion effort to the Championship. Watson is set to become a free agent in the summer and is now expected to be available on a free transfer. Celtic and Rangers are among the clubs reportedly monitoring his development.
