PAOK is nearing an agreement to acquire 25-year-old Slovak center forward David Strelec from Middlesbrough, who is considered the primary target for the Greek team's attack. According to his representatives, PAOK has reached an agreement with the Slovakia international. An agreement on terms with Middlesbrough is still needed. Strelec has 39 caps and 10 goals for his country and joined his current club in September 2025 on a contract that runs until June 2030. Transfermarkt estimates his current market value at €8.00m. Middlesbrough reportedly signed him for €7.5 million. Getafe has also been associated with a potential transfer for the forward.
