Experienced 33-year-old midfielder David Puclin will again play for Varaždin this season. He previously played for Varaždin in the 2022/2023 season on loan from Ukrainian club Vorskla Poltava. After his stint with Varaždin, Puclin went on to play for Chinese club Nantong Zhiyun and Hungarian club Kisvárda FC. His return to Varaždin marks a significant addition to the team's midfield strength as they prepare for the upcoming season.
