Tuttomercato reported that David Okereke received a proposal from Gaziantep in the summer after his loan spell, but no club offered the amount requested by Cremonese.

David Okereke has received interest from several clubs. According to TMW, Gaziantep appears to be the leading club for his acquisition. Okereke's contract expires in June 2026. Last season at Gaziantep in the Turkish Super Lig, he scored 9 goals and provided 3 assists. Okereke will leave Cremona in the coming weeks.
