Left-sided Croatian defender David Čolina will move from Augsburg to Zagłębie Lubin on a permanent transfer. The Ekstraklasa club will pay a fee of 400 thousand euro for the 25-year-old player. The deal is considered advanced, with medical tests planned for Wednesday, after which a contract is expected to be signed. Čolina, who has Bundesliga experience, spent the previous season on loan at Osijek, where he made 29 appearances and provided 3 assists in the SuperSport HNL. He had originally joined Augsburg from Hajduk Split in early 2023. The defender has been capped 19 times for the Croatia U21 national team and his contract with Augsburg was set to expire on June 30, 2027. His current Transfermarkt market value is €650k.
