Danny McNamara Transfer from Millwall to Watford
According to a report by Alan Nixon via Patreon, Watford are interested in acquiring Millwall fullback Danny McNamara on loan. Millwall may be prepared to let the 27-year-old defender leave for a suitable club, as his playing time has been limited this season due to the presence of Tristan Crama. McNamara, who can play on either side of the defence, signed a new contract of an undisclosed length in the summer. He has made eight Championship appearances this season, with no goals or assists. A move could occur before the 7pm deadline on Monday. However, Millwall may be reluctant to let him join Watford, as they are a fellow play-off contender. The defender has been capped by the Republic of Ireland at U21 level, joined Millwall in July 2019, and is under contract until June 2026. His market value is estimated by Transfermarkt to be €1.80m.
