Botafogo are in talks to sign Rangers striker Danilo. The 27-year-old Brazilian did not travel to the club's pre-season camp in Spain due to interest from Europe, but the Brazilian club has now taken action to sign him. Danilo, who has been capped once for Brazil's U23 team, joined Rangers in July 2023 and has a contract until 2028. His current market value is estimated by Transfermarkt at €1.50m. Other clubs recently linked with him include NEC, Corinthians, and Dynamo Kyiv. His last transfer with a fee was in July 2023, when he moved from Feyenoord to Rangers for a reported €6.3 million. In July 2026, NEC Nijmegen reportedly declined to exercise a £4 million purchase option, while in January 2026, Paphos was said to have submitted a formal offer of €2.3 million.
