Sources have confirmed that LaLiga clubs Barcelona and Atlético Madrid are strong admirers of Crystal Palace's Daniel Muñoz. Both Spanish teams reportedly see the Colombian international as a perfect fit for their systems, with Atlético known for their robust defence under Diego Simeone. Crystal Palace, who signed the right-back from Genk in January 2024, are in a firm position as Muñoz is contracted until 2028, with the club holding an option for an additional year. Manager Oliver Glasner has also expressed to the board his desire not to lose any more key players before the end of the current season. According to sources, Palace hopes to retain Muñoz until at least the summer of 2026 to maximize his transfer value.
